The crew is back, sans Izzy. In this show we talk about are Love/Hate for Assassin’s Creed, Call of Duty 4 teaches Yoyo a life lesson and why paying for Rock Band Day one DLC kind of suck. So listen in and get your geek points up.

While surfing around YouTube I found the Six Feet Under Promo for Season 5. It uses the same song (Sia – Breathe Me) as the ending of finale and fits so well. There is a lot of foreshadowing in the video. As a added bonus,  The video of Breath me is after the jump. Which is great in its own right.

Thanks to saki, I started watching the last two season of Six Feet Under. Here is a breakdown of what the show is about.

A drama series that takes a darkly comical look at members of a dysfunctional Pasadena family that runs an independent funeral home. With the prodigal elder son (Peter Krause) returning home for the holidays to shattering news, the family must learn to deal with a death of their own, while figuring out how to go ahead with the business of the living. A funny and emotional look at a grieving American family…that just happens to be in the grief management business.

While the show was pretty good, I can’t say that I was in love with the series. That was until I saw the series finale. It was by far the best ending of any Television show I have ever seen. Yes I know, pretty big claim but it’s totally the case. T

Allow me to explain, with the spoiler filled sentences below.

/Spoiler on/

When most show go off the air, if they are lucky they have an final episode. Which wraps up any story arches that has been running and everybody walks into the sunset. As this point you really don’t know what happens to them unless there is a movie/comic. Six Feet Under does something better. It plays out all the major characters lives in the span of 6 minutes and ends in all of their deaths. Which fall within the theme of the show. Also the music and the surreal colors set the mood prefectly. It’s is both beautiful and powerful. It will stick with you long after you watch it.

/Spoiler off/

The ending reminded me a lot of Bioshock’s good ending, Which also made me feel all teary eyed… In a manly way off course. If you don’t mind the spoilers. You can see both endings for Bio Shock and Six Feet Under after the jump.

They are finally making a Ghostbusters game for the Next Gen Consoles and I am all types of excited. It going to be a sequel to the 2nd movie and will be in the 90s time period. All of the Main Ghostbusters (Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Bill Murray, and Harold Ramis) and some of the supporting actors (William Atherton, Annie Potts) are signed on. So they will look and sound like their movie counterparts.

Terminal Reality is handle the PC, 360, and PS3 versions. While Red Fly Studio will be developing the PS2, Wii, and DS versions. Which worries me a bit. Terminal Reality has make the crappy Æon Flux, BloodRayne & Spy Hunter: Nowhere to Run and Red Fly hasn’t even made a game before. Then again, the game would have to be pretty damn crappy for me not to like them. The joys of seeing thru rose colored fan glasses. All of the games are scheduled to be released in Fall of 2008. While you wait, be sure to check out the new website.

  • Happy Birthday Xbox Live! Still looking good after all this years. #

James Marsters, who played Spike the vampire on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, has signed on to play bad guy Piccolo in the upcoming Dragon Ball Z movie. Justin Chatwin, Tom Cruise’s son in War of the Worlds, will face off against Marsters as hero Goku.

Stephen Chow, director of Shaolin Soccer and Kung Fu Hustle, will produce the DBZ flick while X-Files writer/Space Above & Beyond co-creator James Wong will direct. The nerd cred is strong with this one.

The Dragon Ball movie is set to begin filming later this year, and be released next summer.

While I not the biggest DBZ fan, this is pretty cool. Good to see James Marsters getting work. Also they have some good people working on it. It might be pretty good.
