Sleepaway Camp is a classic 80’s Slasher flick. I am sure everybody remember that surprise twist at the end of the flick. I tell you one think about this new Sleepaway Camp. It feel like like a 80’s slasher flick. I will have to check it out.

This looks pretty damn cool. I really hope it doesn’t suck.

So there is a picture of the new Jason from the upcoming Friday the 13th remake. I don’t think I am liking it. He seems more like a homeless dude instead of a serial killer. What do you think?

….a great movie. Go check it out.

I must say the trai, ler looks damn good. Not sure about the angels though.

So here is Scarlett from the upcoming G.I. Joe movie. Not bad but they have the color scheme is wrong. as you see from the picture below. There is a lot of brown in her suit. Seems like the movie is going to be all about black leather.

When I heard they were making a Batman Anime to go along with the upcoming movie, I was a bit iffy but after seeing this trailer that is all gone. It looks quite good and they get points for bring back Kevin Conroy as Batman. It’s coming out in July 8th, 2008 on DVD and Blu-Ray.

Quarantine is a remake of the Spain film [REC]. If the trailer is any indication of the final film. They look like they did a great job remake it. Well then again, I didn’t see [REC] but the trailer was great. Let hope they this is as least as good as Diary of the Dead.

I have no doubt that the upcoming GI Joe movie is going to be bad… really bad. With that being said, Snake Eyes looks pretty damn awesome. His design really hold up well in this day in age, though I don’t the other “Joes” will. Other then Baroness, You can’t go with a hot woman in a black leather skin-tight jumper.

You can check out more picture over at the toysrevil blog.

Zombie Strippers you say? Sure why not.

I have to say Robert Downey is the prefect Tony Stark. I can’t wait for this movie.

I was a bit fan of the first Starship Troopers Movie. It was completely different from the book but still a nice mix of old school cheesy Sci-fi and gore. When I heard they were making a part 2, I was siked. That was until I saw it. It was a really low budget aliens rip-off piece of crap. So now part 3 is coming out and that they are going back to the feel of the first movie. Now only are they bringing back some of the cast of the first one but they are bringing back the book’s Mechsuits ideas..WOOT… I am looking forward to this release. Please don’t suck.

Being a fan of James Rolfe’s work, I figure I would help pimp this short movie that he is submitting to the to the Diary of the Dead contest. Over to MySpace and check out the short. If you like what you see, feel free to give him a thumbs up. He chosen he will get the movie viewed by the Zombie Master himself, George A Romero. Good luck to you James and tell George I said Hi.

Saw the much hyped Cloverfield this weekend. While I didn’t love it, it was a ok time. One thing I thought when watching it, I couldn’t help but think of the as the US Godzilla redone with some Blair Witch thrown in for good measure. Parts of the Monster’s actions, mirrored what Godzilla did in this movie. ::Spoilers:: In Cloverfield, Little Monsters falling off on the bigger monsters head and attacking people. In Godzilla, the Monster plans eggs, which hatch and attack people. Different delivery method. Same result. ::End Spoilers::. There are a bunch more problems that I have with the movie but the video review by James Rolfe above pretty much sums up my thoughts on it. If you really want to enjoy this movie, Don’t think about the story or plot. It doesn’t really have one. Just take it a big monster movie and nothing else. Also I would recommend you wait till it hits video, I believe seeing it on the smaller screen would enhance it. So not evil, Just not great.

Over the Christmas break I saw the movie “Juno”. While I didn’t fall in love with it, it was quite entertaining. One thing that did stand out was the intro. Like Jason Reitman’s other movie “Thank you for smoking” it set the tone of the movie nicely. You can see the Title Sequence of that movie after the break.

James Marsters, who played Spike the vampire on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, has signed on to play bad guy Piccolo in the upcoming Dragon Ball Z movie. Justin Chatwin, Tom Cruise’s son in War of the Worlds, will face off against Marsters as hero Goku.

Stephen Chow, director of Shaolin Soccer and Kung Fu Hustle, will produce the DBZ flick while X-Files writer/Space Above & Beyond co-creator James Wong will direct. The nerd cred is strong with this one.

The Dragon Ball movie is set to begin filming later this year, and be released next summer.

While I not the biggest DBZ fan, this is pretty cool. Good to see James Marsters getting work. Also they have some good people working on it. It might be pretty good.

They look pretty damn scared. I can’t remember a time when i was truly scared in a movie. It makes me really want to see this movie.

This looks to be a nice inside look on the horror legend.
